: Oh how I love Tim Tams. If you can manage to bring some to SDCC next year, I will buy them from you. I can't find them anymore in AZ.

I'll be there next year. Just waiting on tickets to go on sale. I attended 08 and 09. Went through withdrawals this year so going back next year.

I'll have to look into the hotels. In 08 we stayed at the Embasy Suites, and in 09 we stayed at the Hilton Bayfront. Next year I hope to get into the Hilton Gaslamp (it's right across the street from where the lines form to get into the exhibit hall). My 2nd choice would be Hilton Bayfront as it is right across from Hall H, and closer to exhibit hall lines than the Marriott.

Look forward to meeting some fellow freaks.

BTW I love the Tim Tam slam and need to introduce my wife to it.

Not yet. I actually sent off an email asking about it this afternoon which I think was around midnight your time?? The week before and after the con I can book online and it's about $190 US I think a night.

It's only the best chocolate covered cookie (I don't remember what they officially call the inside) ever. And unfortunately is only found in Asia, Europe, and Australia regions. You may find them in foreign markets around the US (an Asian marketplace used to carry them by me, but no more).

They are addictively good, and use some of the softest and most delicious chocolate I have ever had.

Got an email back last night saying:

We are currently not selling any rooms during those dates. There is a large convention coming in and most of the hotel rooms have been contracted with them.
You are free to check with us again later in the year and see if anything has opened up.

Wonder what convention they are talking about hmmmmm . So bugger guess I will have to wait for Comic Con to put them up next year.....
