I wish. It is just a planning thing. I mean it would be insane if they didn't sell tickets until after the first of April. Insane enough to piss me off enough to not go. I don't want to get a flight until I am guaranteed a ticket. That is my main concern. The hotel thing I am not too worried about because it seems most people have had luck in the past.

I haven't even bothered looking for hotels/flights yet because its pointless to have a room and flight if I can't get in the freaking con! I can safely say I will be ordering next year's badge at the show, if I get in this year

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I think everyone is getting pissed off. I'm almost to the point to where I may not go. The longer we have to wait, the more expensive flights and hotel rooms become. When I went to a smaller Arizona Comicon this past weekend, I wore my SDCC shirt, and everyone that I talked to brought up the ticket thing.

I wonder if this is some new sort of marketing gimmick.

I was there as well. But I didn't see anyone there with an SDCC shirt. Apparently I wasn't paying attention. Are you planning on going to the Phoenix comicon in May? I already have my tickets. Now I'm just waiting for them to open up the autograph and photo op tickets for Leonard Nimoy.

i don't think i will even give them that long...i am leaning more towards the end of this month. there are so many moving parts in planning a family vacation and this is realy ****ing it up

Yup, I'll be there (Phoenix comicon). Bought my tickets the last day they were still only $30 for the 4 days. That is turning out to be a pretty good show. Lots of events and panels.

Ive really given up, but people keep telling me to be patient and hang in there...never been to SDCC, but Im already done with it. Im sure its an awesome experience, but the way the ticket issue has been handled just ticks me off so much like others have said, Id rather plan something else. Heres hoping we hear something soon cause I do want to go.

Sadly, they have already past the date for me. I have decided to put my funds into more statues this year. Hopefully next year they make it a bit easier and less stressful.
