Mwuahaha and I don't want to drop. I want to fly.

Saw someone on Facebook say this and I tend to agree with them in that by always announcing it this seems to cause server issues. Maybe with the new set up it won't be bad for you all (and my Dad) but at this point I'm not so sure.

They just need to not announce anything and put up a few thousand tickets at random times. Let word of mouth (i.e. boards) spread the word each time they go up.

:exactly:
Agree, the people that want to go will find out and end up getting tickets. The people who arent all that concerned will get there 1 or 2 day tickets whenever they can.

Thats how it used to be. Basically whatever date it was we didn't really know and they just showed up. Never had problems getting tickets before.

Just gotta keep an eye out I guess for Dad more than anything (for me) since I'm already covered.

Ok so I have more questions if anyone could help :D.

Do they have free wi-fi in the convention centre as I can't get a sim card for my mobile (too much hassle from what I hear) and I want to keep up with twitter feed during the con as going by last years there was heaps of giveaways and things going on announced on twitter.

Also what's the go with comic con exclusives? are they announced before hand? do you pay before hand ?

They do offer free wi-fi at the con.

The exclusives that are sold at the con are usually published before hand online and you can sort through the list. However, some companies will do their own SDCC exclusives and not publish them with the rest. Usually for those ones you would have to check the companies website beforehand and see if they mention it. I don't ever remember Sideshow's exclusives being mentioned on SDCC's website, however they usually let all of the newsletter subscribers and people who watch the website know what they will be offering. For Sideshow it's usually a pre-order for pickup at the con.

First year I'm going to go as a distributor/producer. ARH Studios.
I hope we get in with Sideshow, already are in with Diamond!
Should be fun!
See you all at SDCC
