I understand why you may think that. But what you may not know is the substantial, and I mean *large*, amount of money Dave has paid out of his pocket to keep this board up and running. And, although not this year but in the past, the once again substantial amount of cash he would personally pay to host the SDCC Freaks parties.

Are these choices his? Yes.
Does he ask to be reimbursed? No.
Do many of us consider this to be very generous? Yes.
Do many of us choose to show our appreciation? Yes.
