What I mean about an extra opportunity is attendees have this pre reg. in August as well as the usual pre reg that is open to everyone.

I got a little drunk all weekend but here are a few photos of people my gf and I met over the weekend.
We managed to get a photo of us on the red carpet on my birthday!!!! i was pretty wasted as you can see but it was fun.
At that party we met people from Teen Wolf, Dax Shephard, Dave Batista, and the RZA MC'ed the whole musical set.
We also hung out at the NBC party, there were a TON of people there from their shows (Grimm, Community, the new ones) but the really cool ones you might appreciate were the monkey from Community (now on Animal Hospital) and Giancarlo Esposito (formerly of Breaking Bad, now on Revolution & Once Upon A Time)
Also we hung out at the EW party. There were too many people to list there. I had to speak with the heads of Marvel and DC over celebs but my gf HAD to take a photo with the leads from True Blood (There is a crappy photo with Skarsgard too but it's blurry)
I also had a great time at the Marvel & DC comic panels, as well as the Assassin's Creed III one. I dont bother with the TV & Movie panels but there was some good info to come out of them.

I gotta disagree. We get an added opportunity. Last year we stood in line at Con for many hours, only to have Preview Night sell out right in front of us. Months later, along w everyone else, we tried online and scored Preview. The previous passes we bought onsite were refunded. I see no difference here except it all being online.
To the peeps who aren't paying attention to the SDCC Freaks Party thread, I thought I'd post a pic of what some of us gave to our Darklord as a gift this year.
Another brilliant collaboration between SSC and Trevor: a custom Darklord Dave figure!

I don't mean to be argumentative about the whole thing as it is really inconsequential. But by my math, 1 opportunity at the con plus 1 opportunity via the website equals 2 opportuniteis. And 1 opportunity on-line through EPIC that replaces the one at the con plus the normal on-line opportunity on Comic-Con's website still equals just 2 opportunites.
