Yeah, I'm glad I didn't have to fight for a place to stay this year! I've been set for months! But good luck to everyone else still trying to find a place.

I feel your pain guys. Went thru this frustration last year. By the time I finally go thru on the site and found EVERYthing gone....I was ready to eat my computer.

I am fairly certain I will be staying local ...

just a two hour drive! :drink

But you don't get the discount?.. My room was discounted over 200 a night.. oh ya..

I might be paying more than I'd like to but after the fiasco of last year of trying to get a reservation the day they all went up (and the closest I could get was in hotel circle and not downtown last year) I decided paying $50 more a night isn't that big of a deal.

Not bad at all for only 50 bux more.. Hotel Circle?.. Have a nice view of the freeway from your room?.. LOL.. thats a good distance and to have to drive in that hell traffic.. sux butt. Its worth getting close enough to walk.

You can ride the train that picks up right there at the Mall instead of driving.

No, no, no I stayed at hotel circle LAST year. That was the closest I could get when I got a reservation 15 minutes after they went up on the Comic-con last year. This year I made reservations at the Days Inn downtown (it's been a shuttle stop in the past, and is within walking distance of the con). I did the drive-in everyday last year from Hotel Circle and really getting to and from the con isn't so bad if you know what streets and blocks to avoid. The biggest pain is paying the jacked up parking prices though.

Did you mean the trolleys? I had a place once where the orange line took me right to the con.
