I agree it is iconic. But I love this:
I vote for whichever suit Kato can make cheapest
....the 3 piece Bruce Wayne suit is stunning but $600+ is just too far outside what I can justify....
I can't see this being any cheaper if its the suit will be 500-600usd same as Wayne and Draper suits. If its the Tux which I personally hope it will be probably looking at 600usd+ possibly as high as 700-800usd but only time will tell.
Kato's work aint cheap but as soon as you take the plunge and pick up some of his work you'll understand why. It really is the next level when it comes to 1/6th tailoring.
I for one understand what it means to consider price 1st in this hobby. But this is one choice I don't want cheap. Not that I'll enjoy paying 600+ for this set but for a Craig Bond with Kato clothing from a movie that I anticipate will be the best yet... I won't complain one bit.
I imagine it as if this were a HT release with zero qc issues, perfect likeness and expression for Craig bond leaving absolutely no room for nitpicking by the masses. Hand painted and beautifully handmade clothing by Kato and if all that were so.. Its a instant grail.
To all those pro tux.. I get ur point but don't say there's plenty of 1/6 suits done already. There's really not! Not good enough for bond anyway. You can bash a suit look all you want with all thats readily available but ur best headsculpt still winds up looking like a $30 Mattel figure on all of them. Only Kato has proven his skill and craftsmanship are good enough for this project, even if it's just a simple gray suit....it's KATO's gray suit!
So did the Rick Grimes season 2 fall off? Haven't seen it.....
his cranium is looking a little too big.
Hope you guys make this look, there are so many guys in suits this blue/black tux is super iconic and cool looking:
Have to give my vote to the tux as a personal pref also.
Although in for the suit too.
How do these projects work? Are full figures offered?
