I like the way the 600 moves and I am also glad they shot it the way they did. I hate when its all CGI (cough new Starwars).

Who says the 800 moves slow and robotic without its skin? and who says it's suppose to be that way?

T1- That endo was pretty banged up by the time we saw it without skin and the stop motion doesnt help.

T2- I think the skull crushing endo moves very nice for what its doing and the others later on in the background are stop motion again.

T3- Endos moving across the land very smooth and human like. One even kicks at something. Very human if you ask me. The scene does seem to have a slow motion effect going on but lets not forget that this is a dream by a man that shouldn't even no what these guys really look like or move like without skin.

It's all a matter of preference I guess, but even Arnold, the human, played the Terminator more stiff and deliberate. He always looked solid. This 600 just seems to have too much wobbly movement to me. It looks like a guy in a suit not because it is, but because of how it carries itself. Even the T-1000 was more mecahnical. No wasted movement. This 600 doesn't have a cold, calculating, solid presence, but a big, sloppy, wasted movement presence that throws the believability off for me. I'm getting used to the design being too big, but I still can't watch it and believe it's a real machine.

But the whole aim, in T1 at least, was that every movement the T800 made was supposed to be the shortest between pont A and B in order to preserve energy. There were no wasted movements and he moved in a way where it was believeable that he was a rigid machine underneath. The T600 in the 2nd clip looks like he's wobbling all over the place. It's not going to totally ruin the film for me, because there have been moments in all 3 Terminator films where Arnie momentarily slips out of character with the way he moves, but it's just a shame because it takes away all the menace the T600 appeared to have in the first few trailers.

Why does T4 need 3 trailers and in additions these clips? They have shown practically all the highlights. What are they thinking? Damn it, save some for those who planned to see it in the theatre.

I hope I'm wrong but this could be another Tropic Thunder: totally over-hyped and a massive let-down. Using this comparison though I hope we find some genius in Salvation as they did with Cruise's character in Tropic Thunder. PLAAAAYA, PLAAAAYA!

Why are they showing so much!?

3 trailers, a 4 minute clip, tons of ads, now these 10... a termigator? They're showing everything. And that's NOT a good sign. It tells me more and more that this films must suck. Why not just have some damn screenings to start building hype? When you have a good movie, that's what you do. Not show every 'goodie' you got in the film before it opens.

I wanted this to be so good...

Well, it's not the same, BUT The Dark Knight was equally covered, maybe even a bit more, when it was coming out. So while I agree more often than not, such promotion tends to be to make up for a sucky movie that needs help, it isn't always an indicator.

True, BUT, John even states in one of the trailers, this is not the future his mother warned him about.

I think T:S is going to show the future war as T3 set it up, but it will not play out exactly as it was said to in T1 and T2.

Nah, Dark Knight did the exact same thing and that wasn't a flop.

exactly what i was gonna say. these clips weren't really anything we haven't seen yet other than the T600 and last clip. all the others were extensions of the bits from the original trailer.
