So, since I've started collecting SSC statues, I've come to the realization that I'm starting to hate the clutter of all my smaller figures and toys. I have a whole bunch of transformers on display at work along with small video game figurines ("tales of" and mgs to name a couple). They are still cool but they just look like a giant mass of chaos. I've been contemplating just selling them all. I could probably make a decent chunk of change and it would def go a long way with my future SSC purchases. I want a nice clean display of statues instead of the clutter. I could just box everything up and store them somewhere but whats the point? I'm not sure I'm the type to keep stuff that I'm not going to display. Anyone else run into this problem? Should I just sell? Anyone else sell off a bunch of stuff and regret it later?

I don't know how old you are, but maybe you could save those for your children?

Regardless of the chaos just throw them in a box and pack them away man. Beleive me you'll sell them and in a few months you'll see a photo or play a game and something will bring back a memory and you'll wish you still had them. Just dump'em in a box and put them away.

I'm selling all of my smaller stuff. I never had too many of them and most were just purchased on impulse, so I never really had any attachment to them. I donated all of my Batman figures by Mattel and DC Direct and am selling everything else. Feels much better not having all this junk around and is helping me fund my purchases.

ive recently become interested in sideshow and ive been selling all my smaller figures to save up enough money for my first high end collectible. Im hoping it will be worth it! but if youre finding that your smaller stuff is more pesky than cool i would sell them!

Sell em. I sold my Transformers collection and I honestly do not miss them at all. I was a serious collector of them for about 14 years and grew up with G1. Chances are if you are considering it, you are ready to move on.

It's a bit hit-or-miss in my experience. Some I've regretted, some I've not even thought about after selling. Good luck making the right decision for you!

I got rid of all the bowens I had minus the few damaged ones nobody would want anyway. I had every statue phase 1-3

I don't regret it one bit

Not true. I sold everything and don't miss a thing. :lecture

That's what I've been doing. I've been selling my less desired collectibles, old video games and other stuff that's talking way too much room and just keeping the things I TRULY like and not the things I bought on a whim. You can say I'm trimming the fat.
