late to the scene on this piece...still undecided at the moment and waiting to see the full reveal. Have to say, I'm not the biggest X-Men fan but love the fact that this guy is rumoured to be the same size as Galactus thus you'd assume it would be priced in a similar bracket and will include a possible light up feature plus alternate switch out hands or faceplate??? I will be waiting patiently in the shadows

I'm bidding on a copy of 'Uncanny X-Men 142' on eBay at the moment, facially they look very similar. It's as you go below the neck line the differences emerge, not too much though. I want this damn statue right now and after seeing the new X-Men film on Friday I want this even more so. Sideshow, drop everything else and hurry up

Aaah shaataaap Lol dude you'll probably be getting it, especially if it comes with a switch-out Battled Damaged faceplate! And switch-out hand that's been shot to **** by Cyclops. Siiiiiick! And yeah Igo said there'd be a light up feature. I'm totally getting this guy (unless perhaps he's an OE, but might still pick him up)

you know me too well buddy this piece certainly has the potential to be just as good as Galactus imo...definite light up eyes and base possibilities, I hope also for a switch out arm or faceplate

Well, SSC has it labeled as a maquette. They did the same thing with Galactus. They are now incorporating comic version statues into the maquette line that was basically the domain of movie statues. They are the ones that are causing the confusion. That said, anyone who looks at the pics of either Galactus or this Sentinel should be able to tell it's a comic version statue and not a movie version. This Sentinel doesn't look anything like the movie Sentinel. The body and color scheme is clearly comic based. As for Galactus...well, his movie appearance was a joke and there can be no mistaking that the maquette is the comic version of him. SSC basically turned the maquette line into an anything goes line. Any version of a character they want and in any scale.
