I expected the figure to be atleast $400, in which case I may have been able to talk myself into it, but at $900 it doesnt matter how much talking I do, I could never afford it

just get the parts and kitbash it. i decided against the leather jacket since he doesn't wear it that much anyway. with KBA's help, i found the jeans, shirt and jacket. all i need now are shoes, a cane and a head (which i got from Serang)

Dave, I'm supremely jealous! If had the $900, I would have bought the completed figure, too. Please post pictures when you get it- it really is a work of art. As it is, I'm glad I could get the impression set, and excited and terrified at the prospect of painting it! If anyone knows of some good head painting tutorials, please let me know where they are located! I haven't done much in the way of in-depth customizing in a long time and this will be my fist time in years seriously painting something.
