I have bought several items from this guy, and he's good to go. Except once when the item came with duplicated hands and he said he'd get me the right ones and didn't, so I went to the manufacturer and they sent some out to me. Yep, I'd bid on his stuff again, don't have a problem with it.

One thing devil, you have stated you aren't interested in this item or any other on the net, and you haven't even bothered to explain your reason to post this thread. Was it to warn us? Was it to ask if this auction was bogus? Instead you go on the attack, which I can't understand either. You cry dumb ass, and all of us longer standing members "a loser", though, more directly at Mike. King douche you said. Then Mike politely and calmly complies to your wish and shows you other such auctions. You proceed with more retaliation. You try to explain yourself by saying you thought it weird.

Mike never called you a noobie, he called LipSmack one, and you don't see LipSmack going on about it. Maybe LipSmack is letting you do the tirade thing. :lol

Let me explain something to you, because it has everything to do with Asia. Hot Toys don't do business the same way most American are used to, the way Sideshow does business. They rely on paid pre-orders to fund ongoing production to lessen their outlay. More and more they are announcing product in advance, and further and further from their estimated release dates, as can be seen from the Dark Knight vehicles. They rely on sellers bringing in those dollars, mostly using 'Buy it Now' auctions. What you have done, is squash someones chances of getting this item cheap, because many buyers wont bid until it has been officially announced. How? By drawing attention to this auction, that is without reserve.

Instead of realising that Mike is giving you the benefit of his experience and learning something, you have unwarrantedly attacked him. I think you know what to do, or should do. Is it so hard to thank and apologise to him?

While I type this I see you have again tried to justify yourself. People bid more than and less than the recommended retail price all the time. It's safe to assume this particular item will sell in the range the other Predator items have, around the $150 mark. It's whatever the person bidding is willing to pay. Let's make a deal.

I just wanted to say that I'm a nerd, and I'm here tonight to stand up for the rights of other nerds. I mean uh, all our lives we've been laughed at and made to feel inferior. And tonight, those *******s, they trashed our house. Why? Cause we're smart? Cause we look different? Well, we're not. I'm a nerd, and uh, I'm pretty proud of it. :)

uh ok.. well sadly I don't fall into that category and in real life back when I was in school I picked on and beat up people like you. Sorry.. that's life. If I happen to like something.. and find interest in something similar to another person it doesn't AUTOMATICALLY mean I'm like them. In any way. Again Sorry.. but that's the truth. It's a hobby.. a minor one at that. It's not life consuming. I don't dress up like characters or go to conventions. I have nothing against that (before even MORE people light their torches to join the melee) but personally it's not me. The word "Nerd" would be the last thing ANYONE would use to describe me in real life. Didn't know that by signing up here I was somehow endorsing Nerd-dom. I guess I missed that section in the user agreement terms when I signed up to be a member of this board.

:(

Actually he didn't comply.. that's the thing. I didn't ask for MORE EBay sellers.. I asked for him to provide me with a link to a reputable STORE.. i.e. BIG NAME STORE (anything, Toy-R-Us, Target, whatever) that has EVER offered something for sale that wasn't even officially announced (meaning with no Price, no Due Date, no Details, etc.) and that wasn't even going to be on the market in the near future. He didn't/couldn't.. because it never happens.

where is this "crazy land" anyway sounds like a nice place

In the minds of people who've drifted away from reality. It's actually free to go there.. but be careful. You might not wanna come back!!!

Wow, guess you missed the 10 posts above mine joking about it. I'm sorry you are so bitter and angry.

blah blah blah blah. I was going to comment on your offensive behavior when I saw this thread about a couple of hours ago. I decided I didn't have anything useful to add, so I passed.

Now, a few hours later, you're still going on about it, and I have to chime in. You sound like a real ass. Face it, you're a geek, nerd, freak, just like the rest of us that log into this board to discuss toys and dolls. You collect dolls. Ha ha! Nerd. If you're ashamed of it, maybe you will not have a good time here, especially if you're going to diss those who enjoy this hobby and this is a part of their life, along with all things geeky.

In the future, try not pissing off members that try to answer your questions and/or offer you advice/help.

There you go again, projecting your 'American' view of how things are done, onto a market that operates in, what seems to you, to be a foreign concept. Those stores you mention are, shop fronted retail outlets, not cyberspace ebay 'stores' and or vendors, and they certainly don't sell the items in question.

To put a littler more perspective into my line of thought. Sideshow don't operate a store fronted shop either. They operate in a way that you are more used to. They do pre-orders, but you feel safer with them. Dealing in overseas transactions can be a harrowing experience for us from across the globe. My first transaction with Sideshow had me touching cloth. The wait, the unexpected, the 'where is it', the 'have I done my dough'. Once i found out how it works I was fine. I ventured into the Asian market and was even more worried again, but I found out it was just different, and now I'm used to it. Sure, there are more problems and uncertainty, dealing with language barriers and such, but they have just as much pride in protecting their reputations.

The fact that you would make a post like this just proves that you're a bigger nerd than most of the nerds here.

Don't worry, we won't judge you just because you haven't come out of the "nerd" closet yet. :D You can live in denial all you want.

hahahaha.. I guess nerds will do anything to recruit. Sorry.. I'm not available.

I think you know what to do, or should do. Is it so hard to thank and apologise to him?

Tell him to use the "SEARCH FUNCTION" maybe he'll find that apology.
