Such is Life - Ned Kelly
I have bought several items from this guy, and he's good to go. Except once when the item came with duplicated hands and he said he'd get me the right ones and didn't, so I went to the manufacturer and they sent some out to me. Yep, I'd bid on his stuff again, don't have a problem with it.
One thing devil, you have stated you aren't interested in this item or any other on the net, and you haven't even bothered to explain your reason to post this thread. Was it to warn us? Was it to ask if this auction was bogus? Instead you go on the attack, which I can't understand either. You cry dumb ass, and all of us longer standing members "a loser", though, more directly at Mike. King douche you said. Then Mike politely and calmly complies to your wish and shows you other such auctions. You proceed with more retaliation. You try to explain yourself by saying you thought it weird.
Mike never called you a noobie, he called LipSmack one, and you don't see LipSmack going on about it. Maybe LipSmack is letting you do the tirade thing.
Let me explain something to you, because it has everything to do with Asia. Hot Toys don't do business the same way most American are used to, the way Sideshow does business. They rely on paid pre-orders to fund ongoing production to lessen their outlay. More and more they are announcing product in advance, and further and further from their estimated release dates, as can be seen from the Dark Knight vehicles. They rely on sellers bringing in those dollars, mostly using 'Buy it Now' auctions. What you have done, is squash someones chances of getting this item cheap, because many buyers wont bid until it has been officially announced. How? By drawing attention to this auction, that is without reserve.
Instead of realising that Mike is giving you the benefit of his experience and learning something, you have unwarrantedly attacked him. I think you know what to do, or should do. Is it so hard to thank and apologise to him?
While I type this I see you have again tried to justify yourself. People bid more than and less than the recommended retail price all the time. It's safe to assume this particular item will sell in the range the other Predator items have, around the $150 mark. It's whatever the person bidding is willing to pay. Let's make a deal.
