Now thats what Im talking about, thats how you create the perfect set of SG1 figures

Diamond Select who ????? not sure how many they sold of Jackson, Mitchell and O'Neill and I thank Toy Anxiety and DST for supplying me with some cool $5 accesories from those $18 figures

but man o man when you see what the DST production figure was . . . and these things (the price differences aside and licencing issues ) . . its just the potential that was missed . . . why DST would settle for the sculpts they did is beyond me, now that we have these for comparison

They could have been $150.00 figures made to HT standards as above

I dont know what DST had to deal with in their production but for an end result they dropped the ball ! Big Time

So what is the formula for their outfits and gear ?? anyone want to share their knowledge on what they're usin ??

I'm using flight suits and military vests. With Black boots. Also picked of 2 of those crappy official release 12 inchers and am using the costumes and weapons from those. But really with these figures there are number of options, they wore a lot of different standard military uniforms on the show. There were also times when they were just running around in black tee shirts and green pants.

Outstanding, Mr Barlow is a SG-1 fan too! Tekkaman Blade is right they did wear alot of outfits over the years. I started out focusing on the offworld team outfits, then I started a garrison team, then pilots and then some episode specific outfits and characters. I just posted several pics over in my Scifi67 SG1 thru the years thread, I'm also going to do a breakdown on them all.

Yeah Ive loved Stargate from the start . I even just watched the full run of Atlantis the past couple weeks. Not nearly as good as SG1 but there are a handful of good eps in there .

They look awesome. Great job painting the sculpts. I especially like the shading on Teal'c face and Carter's hair. Did you use chalk pastels or just acrylics to paint them?
