The point is all of those were exceptionally done with a nice amount of faces/accessories. It's not about how many they produce, but at least produce with quality.

I have no idea why they would test Naruto. I 100% agree on the incredible quality on the DBZ right off the bat, and the half ass attempt with Naruto. One Piece is arguably the most popular manga/anime right now in Japan, and Bandai dropped the ball with them also

Just got SHF Sauske and despite what some people here think I think he's image.jpgimage.jpgreally well done. Obviously the biggest problem is he doesn't have enough faces. Here are some pics.

Not bad; not bad at all. I guess I'll know for myself when MHTS decides to at least ship mine. Pre-ordered it back in 2014, who knows why it's still not here. My main issue with the head is the face sculpt to be honest and how it isn't as nice as the prototype. The clothes look fine and then there's the fact that he doesn't come with many faces. This is a character that actually has a face that actually changes yet he gets the least amount of faces. Hell, the Naruto figure has more faces than Sasuke. Still a good figure.

Edit: Just got word that their shipment should arrive by Monday. Yesssss.

Lol not even arguably, One Piece is the most popular in Japan at the moment, Naruto is also extremely popular and both are still running (the anime that is). Who knows why they decided to not put as much effort in. I feel like if I didn't see how amazing their prototype is, I wouldn't have anything to say but I did see it and it's just too fantastic :gah: It's not like the figure is terrible, it's nice, just not so nice when compared to the prototype.

Has anybody encountered this on their alternate Sasuke headpiece? White dots on the bangs.

It's likely the same thing is happening with Naruto that happened with DBZ. Perhaps the figures are unfortunately not selling too well back home in Japan.

Despite what goes on overseas, Tamashii's #1 customers (in their eyes) is the Japanese audience. The DBZ line started with Piccolo, SSJ Goku and SSJ Gohan all released into stores. By the time they had gotten their sales reports and all, they decided to turn the line to "Web Exclusive" starting with SSJ Vegeta. People argue whether the DBZ figures sold well in stores or not, but commonly what happens in the American markets is that when a product is no longer on store shelves and is "Online Only", then you know it's failed to meet sales projections at retail and stores are no longer placing large orders from the manufacturer. I tend to believe that the figures just didn't "sell well" at retail and make Bandai's sales projections.

So either way, they decided to go "Web Exclusive" and the line eventually turned around and is reputedly one of their "most successful" now. Mostly in part because of the International market in which DBZ is HUGELY popular. The new "Web exclusive" DBZ line even sells out constantly on Tamashii's Japanese Web Shop so sales are definitely solid in Japan. Will it return to stores there? Who knows?

How does this relate to Naruto? Well, maybe Tamashii will consider going "Web Exclusive" with the line which will likely result in lower production numbers but they might be able to make a better profit without having to ship product out to retail stores and such. Perhaps Naruto fans are just not Action Figure collectors, Tamashii sort of realized this with One-Piece and doesn't do much Action Figure-wise but releases A LOT of Figuarts ZERO One-Piece stuff.

I'm guessing the next character will be either kakshi, sakura or itachi. Im hoping its kiba tho but its impossible :)

Hey guys, so if you've yet to purchase the new SHF Sasuke, Barnes and Noble has him in stock. Also, if you are a member/sign up for a free 2 month trial, you get free 1-3 day shipping. He's also pretty inexpensive, at $39 bucks. The site also mentions that the figure qualifies for its Kids Program as a purchase (if you sign up, you get a 30% off coupon.

I hate you so much right now. I got mine for 50 and it's taking forever to get here when I could have gotten him for 40 and in 1-3 days?

Pretty sure it's Rock Lee. I think I saw an image of it somewhere possibly from this thread.

Starting with Naruto & Sasuke I think is fine, but I look at the DBZ SHF & FZ figurines, & also the One Piece FZ figurines, & it's like they aren't even trying with the Naruto lines .....

If they wanna sell more of the Naruto line, they gotta start with the more popular characters like ****shi or Itachi.

Sasuke, Itachi, and Kakαshi have always been fan favorites. I for one hope they do a Madara Uchiha, but only if effort is put into it. I'd definitely buy Madara or Itachi.

Wow 30 bucks? For that price, I might even get a second one if my first one comes up messed up...
Too bad I can't even find the listing on their website.

Edit: Nevermind I found it. They misspelled Uchiha and there's no picture.
