Just cancelled my Ex PO and ordered a Regular version because I am not so keen on the Frodo piece and decided to save $50 bucks at the same time. Hopefully, a fellow freak here gets his or her WL for the Ex converted.

Sorry guys i've been away for a week on holiday to Centre Parcs in the Lake District. Also went to York too, beautiful olde worlde English city, cobbled lanes, houses so close to each they almost touch, not to mention one of europes biggest gothic cathedrals, the York Minster! And LOTS of ghost walks!!

Anyway.....thank you SO much GG for thinking of me, and to BRFC ( Ince should never have been sacked! I hope he becomes Norwich's next boss, whether we get relegated tomorrow or not!). As i have all the dio's so far, and want the new Sam one that's just been announced, i'd love to have the RW dio too. As i've said, the only problem i have with it is i wish the 2 bases were joined, but if i had it i'd probably look to having it customised so they join. I'll send you a PM BRFC.

Glad you had a great holiday :) I've been to the lake district a couple of times and it really is a beautiful area!

Anyway, no worries mate as I said before you asked first :) (not sure what you were saying about Ince there but i'm assuming it was a football type thing??) :dunno :lol

Would be really interesting to see a customised version of this, and prolly not all that difficult, seems it would be just a length of poly with some stone detailing, you'd probably be able to get something from Games Workshop to adapt

Not ordering either but the RW's look fine on their own methinks (and will look incredible with a faux bronze finish), the Frodo piece is pretty supplemental to the display of this piece.

But essential! When i get my new cabinets, i want this as part of my Weathertop section, with the environment, Wiki statue, and this. Frodo needs to be there! It's an important moment in his story!

Now you got the idea Jon, exactly my thoughts as well ....

... wait are you living in my head, again?:horror

That's not hard for him to do, Matt.... with all that room in there, and all...

As this statue is 12" high, do you think it will be roughly the same size as the RWOS figure. would be nice if they did match as I am going to have a ringwraith shelf.

The RWoS is 1/6th I think and I believe this is 1/9th scale so no, they won't, Remember the height goes from the bottom of the base to the top of the highest point, just take a look to the tip of the swords of the ringwraiths :)

Not really close, as GG mentioned about a 1/3 scale different.

Taking the base and swords into account I still dont see how this can be 1/9th scale...maybe it wil be but the hefty price tag and height of 12" suggests otherwise to me. Would they really charge $350 for a tiny 1/9 scale diorama??
