Also how the hell do you jump up into that grate in the first save room when you enter the complex? It is kinda hidden behind a large pipe. I tried for 15 minutes and couldn't get up there.

It took me 10:38 minutes to get 100% map and 100% items. I must have spent 3 hours looking for the last armor upgrade. I ended up at level 20.

Yeah, It is a really fun game. I think it is a great bargain for what it costs. There are still the proving ground events I can do, and I might even make a few more runs through the game.

IMO this is the best game to come out this year. 
I can't think of any other game that kept the controller in my hand as long. Nor when I put the controller down no game I played this year besides this one made me want to pick it right back up and keep playing.

I would just like to thank Epic for giving us older guys a fantastic retro style game!
I haven't had fun playing a game like this in a while. The last one that I raved about like this was Drakes. And this game only cost $15!

Not sure if I am late to the game in figuring this out, but just in case the X button really is your friend.
Holding it down will increase your speed in quite a few areas...going up and down ladders (once you get the "double jump" jet pack), running, swimming, and crouch walking through tunnels.
Oh, and having the flashlight on will tell you what weapon you need to get past the barrier (missiles, grenades, etc).
Any other tricks you've learned, feel free to share with the class.

My only gripe is that the bosses were way too easy. Other than that, very cool game!

I have to say some of the speed boost related upgrades are a pain in the arse. You know the ones...the ones that make you also double jump during the speed run.
