Got mine today and I love them. I hope SS makes more Shaun of the Dead figures!!

I didn't think either of mine where shiny just how crappy Ed's outfit came out. Man, that really bugs me if ya can't tell. :lo

Ed's outfit is awful, especially the fat suit. But Shaun's isn't much better - that shirt and tie are just awful. The more I played around with these last night when I was shooting them, the less I liked them.

These figures look staved for a repaint and body swap... I cancelled them, kind of wish had them because of the movie, but they just just looked like they weren't going to be produced right...

In the process of correcting several things I dislike about the figures. First up I just could not stand the horrible bouquet that came with Shaun. After a quick trip to the local craft store, voilà!

With a few mods these figures are gonna be great.

Nice work bro! I got Ed today and moved him ahead and painted him really quick. I just wanted to know if it was salvageable. I did remove some fluff from the back of the fatsuit because it was waaaay too big back there... made him look like he had reverse man tits..

But the repaint came out AWESOME, and with some blood splatter... even better. I'll go and take some pics really quick. Had to stop painting for a minute... my legs were numb and floppy.

Thanks guys! In the film, Ed had a scar or bald spot in the back of his head... I love that SSC didn't forget that. I'm glad I am not the only person who noticed it.

And I DO have Shaun coming too. I have all kinds of plans for updating him, including a much better tie.

It's just great that we live in a time when you can actually count on stuff like this making it onto a figure, especially if you grew up in a time when you were lucky if a character you dug was available in action-figure form without some sort of massive projectile-launching space suit.

I totally agree. These are the days to be a collector... that's for sure. I remember the old days... toys looked nothing like the characters they were supposed to be.
