Shipping for the new statues to Europe?

Could Europeans tell me how much shipping the new sideshow line (Buffy & Willow)and other fees cost to ship? I'm thinking about buying the Spike statue, and want a idea for what I'm getting into.

Then a third or something of both the item's value AND shipping in custom fees. Yay...

Well, that was for a PF from ebay sellers. I have no idea what it's like for these statues, but I'm guessing getting a Spike ex from a european seller, on or off ebay, will be hard.

Oh then that makes more sense. I am sure shipping with Sideshow would be much less than those $80-100. I think they have some sort of deal with fedex or something like that (don't quote me on this). The problem is that you will still be charged custom fees.

As for EX on Ebay or retailers in Europe...it really depends on the piece. Not sure which piece you are referring to. Is it the Spike PF that was released a long time ago or to an upcoming comiquette? If it is the former...you will probably have a hard time to get an EX as these are long sold out. If it is the latter case, then it is just a matter of being patient. Most pieces released nowadays can be purchased for way below retail. As I say, a matter of patience and doing frequent searches on the net

I mean the new Spike. Would be nice to get the PF as well, but I prioritize that new Spike.

I guess I could hope that the ex will be sold in european stores, but I kind of doubt it, since I haven't seen the others ex's from the new lines there. Too be fair, I haven't done detailed and thourough searches, I just look in UK stores from time to time.

I just checked forbiddenplanet.co.uk and the Spike statue, regular, costs 199£there, but if I order it from sideshow, it will cost me 149 £. I'm not sure European stores, who will have added fees for shipping the item from US to them and taxes and such, are the way to go(unless the shipping is waaaay different).

I should probably buy from sideshow directly. But shippiiiiing.

Shipping is the real killer, a PF can cost any thing up to $110 to the Netherlands. Plus import tax if your package is stopped by customs, which can be 35% of purchase price. Packages from the USA are nearly always subject to the import tax, packages from another European country are tax free.

I am extremely lucky, the largest importer of this merchandize is a personal friend. I got Willow for €160, which is approx $230.

Shippingcost depends on the veight and dimensions of the box, so it varies but it can be hard to find a system. Some excamples from my orderhistory:
Rogue pf: $35
Willow: $46
Cyclus pf: $58
Gollum pf: $47

And I'm pretty close to Sweden: Copenhagen, Denmark

That doesn't sound that bad. I just need to compare it too how much the Spike statue weighs.

I sent a message to sideshow asking how much shipping is for Willow to Sweden. I'll see what they say.

the shipping costs from US to Germany for the Willow Statue was about $35
..She-Hulk was $44

I think it will be nearly $100 to ship to Australia. But fortunately I don't get any custom fees on anything under 1K, so that's one good thing.

As I said in a PM to Trev It's a shame we can't just buy his heads separately as I'd so be up for that. That Spike head is magnificent and It really upset me that I just couldn't afford to get him.

By the way I found Sideshow to be utterly useless when trying to get a shipping quote off them. I emailed them and they said that they couldn't tell me how much it would cost to ship until it had turned up with them, which is far too late of course.

Then they said that I should try looking through their website and picking out similar a weight item that was actually in stock and getting a quote for that instead to act as a comparison. Talk about useless.
