anyone who is either in malaysia or who has shipped an item to malaysia know how much it costs to ship a statue there from the US? I know the weight and size makes a difference but I just want a ballpark idea. I'm in socal and someone wanted me to ship to malaysia. The item I'm selling isn't that large...maybe a box the size of 2 1/6 figures boxes combined. I'm just looking for a slight clue on customs etc. I'm only charging $15 for the shipping in the US.

i stopped shipping to places like that years ago due to the hassle of paperwork, high shipping costs and the strong possibilty of being scammed.

I know you said you have the info already, but make sure your info is as exact as can be, including LWH of the box. I forget the specifics, but I know once you're over a certain weight or box size, you have to do Priority (which you might want to do anyway) instead of First Class, which bumps the price up a lot.

Although with a lot of countries, you're better off just telling them the price for Priority, since you can do insurance, tracking, etc. And if they don't want to pay, move on. The benefits of having the item sold could soon be outweight by all sorts of problems if you don't protect yourself.

I'm not sure if this will help since you want to know how much cost a seller would incur in shipping to Malaysia and I'm just sharing how much a buyer would pay.

Malaysia is a neighboring southeast Asian country to me (in the Philippines). I just ordered one 1/6 figure I couldn't find locally from a dealer in the US. I paid about USD$44 for shipping via USPS Express Mail International, excluding import duties/taxes of course.
