Holy **** I didn’t even see that! lol oh well it’s to funny to change now 😂

Is this figure made out of a material that will be prone to cracking and stickiness in time? How did the 1.0 do with aging?

Mine is still holding up fine, though he can barely move due to the full rubber suit.

One of the gauntlet spikes and the bat symbol on his chest fell off though.

good to know for us getting the 2.0 then
Hopefully but not necessarily - what if HT changed the formula?

Not toy related but i remember Spalding changing their TF-1000 basketball a few years ago - the new balls looked similar from a distance but was made from a crappier material.

I've had problems for both v1's 89/ returns ankle joints, but nothing too bad.

When the returns hot toys came I bought like two or three extra gauntlets from parted out kits that have helped dealt the blow of them becoming unglued.

A month ago I had two batman return figures and the one that was always displayed, the cape pleather finally started to flake off because of the pose I had it, if it was museum pose draped it would had been fine. I had the other returns figure brand new sealed and still smelled like it was new since 2015. Even then both suits have held up fine, but I do maintain my rubber suits with chemical guys interior protector, it gives it the natural no shine finish.

Dude when I got my batman and robin from batman forever I posed them like the promo shots with their arms on their hips and my robin suit paint flaked around the elbow joints and the nut protector became unglued. I ended up getting a replacement body from sideshow but dude, I don't risk poses unless I want to pose them and just leave them with museum pieces.

My older hot toys joker figures from 12 years ago are loose on the ankles on all of them and I use the stands they came with.

No matter what you do plastic to plastic to contact will degrade over the years. There's way to fix it, but at point i'd rather sell, which works fine for me because hot toys knows how "long" their figures on average last.
