It is a Solar penguin statue . . . there were only 30 of them made . . .They were sculpted by Sean Chen for Valiant Fans over at the valiantfans.com site . .

I guess this is actually a “group grail” as he also sculpted the Solar statue and the other 2 penguins here . . .

I was lucky enough to get the other sculpts (also limited to about 30 pieces) but the Solar was incredibly difficult . . . no one wants to sell theirs . . . .

(this probably only means something to Valiant fans . . . so I included the Hulk PF for non-Valiant fans . . . )

That takes me back to the early nineties! Loved Valiant until Shooter left. Still supported them. Even followed them through Acclaim and it still bugs me that they died right after Shooter returned -- halfway through his Unity 2000 mini-series.

Really nice piece.

Mine is the CM Predator. I was seconds away from pulling the trigger when I realized for the price of this one statue I can afford an entire LOTR display of 4-5 PFs and a few of the big bad LSBs.

I love both movies but one sick statue VS an entire bookshelf (and the shelf itself lol) of the best LOTR stuff on the market won.

Here are a few photo's of my Grail. It's a Freddy Krueger foam filled latex bust with acrylic eyes and teeth from David Miller Creations (FX artist from the original Nightmare On Elm Street). I bought it back in 2003 from his website. This piece has been in storage at my Dad's house, boxed away for the last 4 years until I can get some proper glass display cabinets to put him and my other "choice" horror collectibles in. I can't wait for that day
