Sorry if this is hi-jacking the topic, but being a newbie I didn't want to start a new thread with what might be a dumb-*** question. When I first got into 1/6 a few months back I saw this:

I didn't know anything about Kamen Riders, but I thought it looked awesome and I put down a pre-order deposit. It arrives in August and I'll have to fork out the remaining amount if I want to keep it and not waste my deposit.

But it's a lot of money, even at what seems to be a cheaper price than anywhere else I've come across.

Can any of you Kamen Rider fans tell me whether this is a good purchase to go ahead with? I have heard even from people who diss medicom that the KR figures are the bomb.

Will I regret buying it or regret passing on it? How easy are they to sell-on if August comes and my finances aren't looking good? Is anyone here getting this figure?

I am mostly into old school kamen riders so I am not getting this but some of the new kamen rider like kiva does look pretty cool. (google it)

The quality on the medicom KM is generally top notch, similar to ultraman and their anime based figures kamen rider is medicom's core product. That said, you can find some kamen riders at a cheaper price down the line on ebay and such. I guess the popularity of the character is a factor in that.

I've heard too many horror stories about bad QC and easily damaged bodies for the newer KR figures (anything with the 301Kai it seems) On a lighter note, I took these a while back...thought they were pretty funny.
