Just bought Evil Dead 2 and Army Of Darkness on Blu Ray great upscale of the films.Is the Evil Dead worth getting on Blu Ray or should i just stick with my dvd copy?

Is Hot Toys rumored or planned to do Ash from The Evil Dead 2?

I doubt this will happen very much. I read somewhere i think it was a SS Q&A thing that the rights to ED2 are very hard to get thats why theres lots of AOD stuff about but very few ED2 stuff.
Also i have read that horror is not very popular in the asian market, thats why theres no Freddy Jason or anything horror stuff from hot toys.

A Hot Toys Ash would rule but very unlikely

I had read somewhere on the internets that while Bruce Campbell would be in it, he wouldn't be playing Ash but more of a cameo type role. Man, I hope that isn't true.

I cant see Bruce doing Ash anymore he's past his prime, but maybe still in there as maybe the father of the next Ash? I dunno but the cammeo is a good idea. cant have an ED4 without him. It begs the question though, who can play ash as good as Bruce?

My muscle body arrived in the mail today so now I feel I can really begin my custom in earnest. I'm gonna try not to flood the thread with my inane questions but being that this is my first 1/6 custom and working with a Hot Toys body beyond just posing, I hope people won't mind a couple.

First, I have beto's boots and I just wanted to make sure that they were drilled to snap right into the Hot Toys foot peg. It feels awfully tough to snap them on there and thought I'd make sure before I risked breaking anything. Likewise with the head, I haven't pulled the plug out of the Hot Toys head, but it doesn't appear like Ash's head hole is rounded and ready for the ball...is that true? I see the Hot Toys head seems to have a ring around the peg, is that something I should pull out and transfer to Ash to make the peg stay in place?

Sort of generic customizing questions, but I figure since a lot of folks are using beto's parts that it made sense to inquire in here.

The head should fit on as it is.

With the boots I split the hot toys feet then attached the tube part with supper glue.
It’s a bit hard to explain so I will try find some pics at some point.
