Show Us Some ASH

Well it's not 1/6th scale, but here's a dio I made of Ash in the pit for Army Of Darkness. Its the 1/4 scale Ash figure sculpted by William Paquet and produced by Screamin way back in the 90's.
I didn't much care for the gate of his stance so I lopped him off at the knee and made this dio.

I love the water effects. Looks great!

Popped Ed on a body as well... just a quick idea of how the head will look in a shirt.

I ordered a blue striped one from minibarbie I hope will be a good fit:

Will do... I'm quickly learning that I'm **** at casting; but I'm still plugging way. The mold I just made has a lot better detail than the above picture, but evidently I did not do a good job of eliminating bubbles. I'm going to clean up the cast and see if I can get it to be bubble-free as I await another batch of silicone

Haha sit there and shout at the cast until its perfect just kidding I hope it works I'm so badly wanting one of these I have the body and shirt etc just need a sculpt keep up the good work bud keep me posted on what I messagd you about! good luck

You should post a pic of what you've got... that will help others if they're building one

I went over the cast with some putty last night and that seemed to help quite a bit; but I do have some more silicone coming (1lb does not last long at all ) so I'd still like to take another crack at getting a cleaner cast.

Thanks guys, I'm painting a newer, cleaner cast as we speak. I'll post some pics later and if I have time I'll chop off a neck and see how he looks on a soldier story body. Like Ash, Ed's shirt was pretty open after the transformation.

So I got the new head painted and was pretty happy with it... then decided to take the neck off I think the Soldier Story body looks much better than what I had him on and once I get the collar adjusted I think it will be spot-on.

So here's the newer cast, neckless on the new body:
