I have a spare one from the Jason Sideshow figure... it's a decent option. I used it until I got a Beto version.
I posted these in Rocco's thread--my paint up of his Ash head done by me. I'm happy with how it turned out. I think this is the best Campbell likeness in this scale.
I used a painted Beto sculpt I had as reference for the damage. Probably should have used a screen shot instead, but still a'aight.

Man, that is a really killer likeness.
That is sick I can't wait too have mine painted! And I can't wait too have my Rocco deadite ash painted too!

Not one ash sculpt out there is 100 %bruce Campbell likeness.
IMO the neca evil dead 2 figure have the best likeness.

Looks good man, great paint-up and a good likeness. I prefer Beto's sculpts, but this one definitely has some strong points.
Thanks GB. I tried to follow your eye tutorial. That, a very fine paintbrush, and a magnifier headpiece deal allowed me to do the fine detail work that kept me from being satisfied with any of my previous attempts. I still need to put the gloss on the eyes.
And since you mention the Beto sculpt, I took a shot of the two together just so folks can see some of the differences. I think Beto's really captured the spirit of Ash from that film with the expression. He looks like he's really out of his element

No way....Beto's Ash (painted by him) has the best Bruce Campbell likeness I have seen
its like owning a Hot toys Ash,that is how professional it is

Some of the paint jobs on here for ash are amazing my 2 beto ash's sets complete with paged necro and deadite hand should be here this week so hyped!

Phenomenal.
Not at the moment. Thinking I might bash together multiple versions of this character, and Beto's makes for a nice, exaggerated/caricatured version of the character. Might just go ***** out and douse him with blood at some point
