Re: Show your Hot toys Batman Collection!

Looks very classy. I really like the lighting. But the guys on the right seem a bit cramped.

I bet it'd look even nicer if you moved the Enterprises somewhere else and made the case on the right wider - that way everyone could be in the front row and easily visible, and you might even be able to fit that BR Joker you've got hiding way up in the top left corner!

Do you mind if I ask where you got the LEDs?

Yeah I gotto make another case to spread them out a bit more but can't cover the center due to the speaker and the amp I cant move as I have no more space to hide the amp :p I am going to make a new shelf in another part of my living room with free floating acrylic shelves and hope that will help me spread out things a bit more :D
Oh the lighting side of things, I use LED strips from Ikea and I have some undercounter LED potlights (over batman and BR Joker) from Costco that I use randomly to light up stuff

Do LED strips get hot after a while?

LEDs are very efficient in general and generate very little heat, also no UV minimizing any potential risk of deterioration.

Fantastic pics Geil!!

Re: Show your Hot toys Batman Collection!

Agreed! Your display is great Jeff.
I definately need some of your cases bro! :D
Question on the LED lighting: is it a simple plug in situation or to they require a more complicated connection?

Re: Show your Hot toys Batman Collection!

this is my updated collection:

waiting for another body & suit to display harvey on the other side of batman

Re: Show your Hot toys Batman Collection!

Pennyworth. Anytime bro ;). And for the lights I have not even bother setting it up permanantly, it is just simple plugging connectors together and I just have then lay there as I keep changing my arrangement but it does come with clips to screw them in permanantly (you can use doublesided tape too). I actually like the flexibility as the position of the light changes the look of things quite a bit and I do adjust it from time to time. Oh btw I got now all LED strips from my two LED sets hooked up to only one of the Ikea power supplies and junctions and nothings blew up on me :D. Now just need to flip one switch to control them all. My RF switch still won't work though :(

Two-Face you do know you can edit your posts to correct your mistake?

Groups of uniformed ppl always impress but I can't justify more of them but of I can pick up another cheap set I may cloth my hopefully special TT gift from HT with it to make a third. Oh forget it :p that be too much invested into one scene and as is it does the job quite nicely. Just need to spread out my collection and make some dioramas
