Great photo's alexi. I love the paint on the Joker's fingertips. Very unique idea. I've never seen that done before. And that batman cowl/mouth plate are incredible. They look amazing! Congrats.

thanks james. yeah i just dry brush white then black then red on the hands to mimic his smearing the makeup over his face.

and ultramarknus, is that one of seb's joker customs? its really cool.

Thanks Alexi! No, Ashkanls had put together most of it. I replaced the bbk joker shirt with a DCD Joker shirt and vest. Replaced the bbk Joker shoes with some 1/6 shiney shoes. I also added a Hot Toys Octopus Scarf/tie. Also used the DCD Joker cane and DCD Harley Quinn mallett.

I'll take better pics. I was just happy to get the scarf in today to complete him

he does! in this case it's just a matter of personal preference. i don't dig jim lee's batman or joker at all, even when well executed. i can appreciate that they look right, but they are not my thing.

ultra's interpretation of these characters are comic-bookesque without being total caricatures ~ the joker sculpt is especially impressive to me for looking like it could be an actual person and not some weird stretched pointy thing.

That's all that matters then.

This was put together by Moe. It's really the look I wanted...to emulate the comic Batman from the late 80's, early 90's that I use to read.

Oh yeah, and I also swapped out the body for the ttm18 "equivilent" body. So the recipe for the outfit is pretty easy...

Hot Toys 89 Joker flower and gloves
