I was too for a long time but I'm happy I got him. He looks great in hand. I posted a small review in the Bane thread yesterday if you want to check it out.

I say if you can still find it close to retail get it. If you don't like it I don't think you'll have any problem selling it on here and getting your money back.

Thanks will do. :hi5:

Yeah, bud. Came Monday. I started having a bit of buyers remorse when it was in transit but after I received it but once I had it for a while any notion of regret went out the window. Probably one of the biggest surprise hits for me. I think even stock ( although I have some niggles here and there) he's an excellent figure. I can't wait to start customizing him.

He looks great bud. Loving the pose. :rock

Figured there might be some fellow fans of the Kenner Keaton Batman toy lines in this thread that might enjoy seeing my latest acquisition- The original wax sculpture of the Michael Keaton Batman head used throughout the Kenner Batman Dark Knight Collection & Batman Returns lines!

More pics and a little backstory on it here:

That is fantastic and right up my alley. It's amazing how well that sculpt holds up for a 23 year old toy. Seriously, thanks for sharing that, I love this stuff.

Pity that later versions of the Crime Attack sculpt sort of got worse with each new variation. The head and mouth seemed to get squashed and fatter or something compared to the original first waves. Then again, sometimes a poorly painted mouth would give off that effect.

And yeah, definitely share more. I'd love to see what else you got. I can't get enough of the early Kenner Batman merchandise from the early 90s. I collected/own all of it until 94' so it's great to see someone else who has the same passion for that era of Batman collecting. It'd be great if there was some website that archives all this (specifically for the first three Kenner Batman lines). Everything from variations, photo archives, history, etc. I've thought about making one with my collection, but I suck at making websites.

EDIT:

Just caught your Iron Winch Batman review (vid and photo), great stuff. If you do another one, definitely do Crime Attack Batman or Bruce Wayne next. Those three (Iron Winch, Crime Attack and Wayne) were my favorites as a kid and even now.

By the way, do you have both Jokers and the TDKC Batmobile? The TDKC Batmobile by far my favorite Furst/Burton/Keaton Batmobile in my collection thus far (until the Hot Toys one ships obviously).

I'm a HUGE Kenner fan. So much so that I even appreciated the Batman and Robin toyline. Post away!

Thanks guys! :1-1:

As DiFabio mentioned, out first Kenner Batman review is already up: Iron Winch Batman-

For the full review and pictures, head here: 1989Batman.com Iron Winch Batman Review

Our goal is to hopefully have most of the Dark Knight Collection/ Batman Returns lines reviewed by the end of the year, so I'll post links as we cover them. :)

I don't know if it was the comic accurate colors on the '89 suit or that navy blue cape but something about Iron/Sky Winch Batman always stood out.

I know people don't like the big, gimmicky weapons but I thought Kenner's answer to the grapple gun and Batarang was handled brilliantly with the winch and Batarang launcher that came with Iron Winch Batman and Crime Attack Batman. I also love how they weren't clunky and fit perfectly in the weapon arsenal compartment in the Batcave.

Thanks for sharing this :) I absolutely adore the early Kenner Batman lines. To this day Crime Attack Batman and TDKC Batmobile are my favorite items in my collection.

I love when salla posts stuff like this. :)

Great stuff, great story. I love the Kenner line and I miss all the stuff I had. I had doubles of most my stuff - in and out of pack. It all went up in the fire though. I'd love to acquire some of it back but I just don't have the space anymore.

Put my BR on the batman stand, and switched out the nameplates.

Got creative with the cards and batarangs on Joker and bats stands. :lol

how do you band the joker's hand to hold the card? I found out jokers does not have a right hand part to hold card

Current HT Bat Setup, not a bunch of figures just the important ones to me now a days.
