Really a great display! Though I didn't know Jim Gordon started smoking after TDKR :lol, I really like the figure's look! :rock

Wow Sallah, that looks fantastic. Very nice idea choosing the most relevant robin to go with Keaton. Can't wait to see the head!

Agreed,he is looking outstanding.

Very cool! Can't wait to see the finished fig.

I really want a Tim Drake Robin. Maybe after I finish my Old school Bat-Man

Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words!

The head I picked out should be arriving today... and I could use some opinions. :) I really want to do the mask as a separate piece, so I stripped one off of a Spirit head I had here. My dilemma is how to handle the area around the eye inside the mask and the eye itself. Do I leave it unpainted, do I paint the black in around the eye (like Robin in Batman Forever), or do I paint the black in AND paint the eye white (for a more comic feel)-

Excuse the poor quality PS job there... but hopefully this shows what I mean. :)

Fantastic collection V-Raptor. :hi5:

My eyes instantly went to the '89 Bats and Mr J. Oh and what pants/boots are you using on your Bane?

Loving the Robin you are putting together Sallah, good luck with that buddy.

If this is going to be displayed next to dark knight figures I would choose the middle one. The last one is too cartoony, and the first one looks like a 60's batman.

Sallah, it depends if you want that Robin to be next to Keaton or not... if Robin is going to be part of "Burton Collection", I would choose the second option.

Same here. If your going with the movie theme the middle one. Comic style needs white eyes.

Yeah... I probably would display in with the Burton stuff. I do have a custom Miller TDKR Bats that I may put it with, but the whole drive of what I am doing stems from my love of the Kenner Batman Returns Tim Drake Robin figure, so it is more important for him to not look odd next to the DX09 (or the eventual Batman Returns Hot Toy) than it would be to look good nest to Miller Bats. Even though that Kenner figure had the white eyes, their Keaton Batman figure also had them... so what worked at that scale doesn't work as well at 1/6. As much as I love the comic look, it does look a bit strange on a realistic head sculpt.

I think I am going to go with number 2. Thanks for the input guys!

Maybe black make-up lines and normal eyes would be better? Just a suggestion.

I would go the Forever Robin route, leave the eyes painted normally with black mascara around the eyes to the mask. The pupil-less Little Orphan Annie look would not go well with this figure.

It is this one I found on ebay- https://www.ebay.com/itm/151287463771?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648

I just kept looking through all the 1/6th heads on ebay until I found one that looked young, had the semi-spike hair that Tim had early on, and looked realistic without being pegged down to any certain celebrity. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that it fits!

That's funny because I do the same thing. look for good heads that i could use for a Robin.

I'm a Keaton movie Batman fan also. I also Can do with the Kilmer Batman but thats where it ends for me.

Funny, it's supposed to be Cristiano Ronaldo :yess:

The man who'll drive us to "La Décima".

im backing the welsh wonder gareth bale and that smarmy cheat ronaldo to win the champions league.

atletico did well to make it to the final. first time in 40 odd years, right?

Right, and they've never have won it, I hope it continues....

Right now in Madrid, all of us (RM supporters) are "falling in love" with Bale... what a beast!

Soccer player or no... The head worked out pretty good I think. :)

With some DC 1/6 scale buddies...

...and with his Evilface stand. :)

Pretty happy with how he turned out! It feels like missing piece of the collection is now there. :)
