Can you somehow get a pic of them?

I think its a Cichlid. I used to have a red devil for a while but ended up donating him to a fish store when I moved.

Cichlids since I have more than 1. And African Cichlid since there's many type of cichlids and these are African type. Fair to say they're mostly fresh water since I haven't seen a saltwater cichlids. This particular type, the male changes from all yellow to mostly blue and some black. Female retains all the yellow when they matures.

Big moma is hiding in the far top right. She's pregnant again with babies in her mouth. You don't see it but I have 1 baby and 3 grown babies.

I'll change/clean the water next week. Dirty tank it is.

I used to have an algae eater but that fish, I don't know how well it will do with my aggressive fish. I tried the idea of keeping a few fish and cleaning/vacuum the tank 3 times a year. But I am going to go with 4-5 times a year now. Especially with younglings in my tank.

Believe me, if you get a good size one of those, they won't mess with it. They have nasty sharp things in the mouths to scrape algae off.

A place that sells fish should tell you if they'll get along. You really do need something to handle that algae.

I'll ask about them next time I take a trip to the pet store or a realy nice pet store that I rarely go to instead of the local PetMart store. I usually don't go for these kind of fish cause they look boring but I did see a yellow with black poka dot one for $75 bucks. And what turned me off is these thing can grow to like 12+ inches. Maybe I can buy one that's small and grow no more than 6 inches.
