Sadly, Julee Cruse, the original singer of dreampop tunes at the Roadhouse, has passed away at the age of 65.

There's seriously gonna be nobody left. There's no way they can possibly make another season.

So, in addition to the recent deaths of Kenneth Walsh (Windham Earle) and Lenny von Dohlen (Harold Smith), we can add David Warner (Thomas Eckhardt) to the list of deceased Twin Peaks actors.

Now all of these guys' characters were already dead in the series so it wouldn't really affect any theoretical "new" episodes. Still, sad to see the cast of this show just dropping like flies.

You could argue that as long as we have Lynch and MacLachlan we could have more Twin Peaks, but I still say we've lost way too many people that are crucial to the series for it to ever continue.

Aww I didn’t know that about Welsh and Von Dohlen. Welsh was truly amazing as Earle.

What an incredible talent. I’ve got the 4K of Carrie just begging to be watched. Plus I will never forgot how much she went out on a limb to play such a damaged character in The Hustler.

This thread is one of the saddest reads ever. The news that Lynch has emphysema and is basically retired from filmmaking now doesn’t help. Still, the body of work he has left for us is staggering.

Yes I saw that but I highly doubt he will ever make a film again. I think he will do art installations as much as he can though.
