I was wanting to like this one, hopefully they do keep the es low for those of you that worry about such things.
Sideshow 1:1 Full Size Hulk Bust Discussion

Sideshow has been really pissing me off lately with their bases for PF's ranging in differences of over 3 inches. It really affects the scale of how characters appear when they are displayed next to each other.
The same thing is happening in the life size bust range. This Hulk bust should be the biggest bust in the Marvel range, after all it is HULK... but it is 4 inches shorter than the Iron Man bust and as jimmy said it is an inch shorter than Spiderman.
I haven't collected busts for three years but I brought the Iron Man bust a couple of days ago to go with this and I can't understand how this bust isn't at least the same height as the Iron Man.......

Scale is very important. If things are out of scale , you have to display them away from each other. Which you should not have to do with items that are sold in the same "Line".

if you look at spiderman and venom, venom is a lot shorter as far as the 1:1 goes. that's doesn't necessarily mean hulk is smaller compare hulks head and chest. spidey might be taller but it's becuz of the pose.

I still like this piece, weight and negative comments aside, and I think it will please those who ordered it, including myself.
For the record, now way this only weighs 15 lbs. I say as least twice that, at least.

After looking at the SS pics, I'm diggin this. Looks pretty sweet!!! 
I think this is a must have for any Marvel collector. This will look great along side all the Marvel icons

Looking at the specs I'm a little pissed he isn't wider. The initial specs have him as wide as Spidey but I'm going to keep until I see some in handers. There is always someone who gets it early and I'll make my decision then.

What the hell is 1:1 about this bust???....its the same hight as the freaken PF. If this was real 1:1 it would be 4' wide and 3' tall.....my PF darkness is taller an heavier than this. Sorry SS, but im not impressed with this at all!
It looks like a small child growling at you...and what the hell is with that paper thin neck area?
The baggy dark eyes looks like Hulk is on crack and hasnt slept in a week. Overall....its just unbelievably ugly....and @ $500 a total rip off. This thing is GUARANTEED to be hollow and will most likley sport SS new policy of "open" ES's. I cant see this thing selling out anytime soon...another one destined to remain on SS shelves.

And we must remember: I have the Thing 1:1 bust, and beside the 1:1 Iron Man bust, even thought the Iron Man bust is much taller, it makes the Iron Man Head portion look like a peanut (ok, not that small, but you get what I am saying hopefully).
