Looks awesome and amazing though, anyone who does not have this u might as well just jump off a bridge IMO.

Yea I am gonna jump off a bridge now.....**Mr. Green jumped off bridge**

Can't do hollow..Every piece I own that is light as a feather/paper thin Ive dismissed from my collection.. Only into quality.. Glad I waited..

If you want quality, pick up a Hulk LSB and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Hollow is not cool....not cool at all. Partially defeats the whole point of having a 1:1 bust for me. For starters, obviously it has to be visually pleasing, but it also has to have the vibe that it has some weight to it. For those dollars, when I look at it, I have to know it's a badass in every way. This is THE HULK! The Hulk should be HEAVY. Without this I am not so sure it will retain it's "Hulkness".........

Considering it's hollow, why is it $500.00 again exactly?

Concerning shipping costs, I would gladly pay more for shipping if it had the weight a Hulk 1:1 bust should.

Always said hollow is not cool...the only types who defend a hollow sculpt are those who have been poisoned (and their wallets raped) by pvc in the past.

I foresee SS skimping out on quality with larger pieces in the coming years. Until the economy changes back to trigger happy money spenders again...SS wont bother adding costs and extra material into the production of the bigger pieces that require it. The older PF hulk weighed as much as much as a small child, this 1:1 hulk bust probably weighs as much as a small hamster. SS is playing it safe it appears and cutting costs where they can. Things arent selling out like they use too. As a business it is wise to be cautious. But when your in the collectible business I believe its dangerous to skimp away from quality to save a few bucks. You risk losing loyal customers who have collected and purchased from you for years. Where as if quality stayed consistent your customers would stay with you for better or worse.
I'll be the first to admit I would have given SS $2000 of my money if they has made their 1:2 Iron man MUCH thicker and heavier. At least it gives the sense of heavy duty quality when you buy a piece that large. But since their 1:2 IM turned out to be more of a lamp shade.....I'll keep my $2000. The new 1:1 Thor AND Wolverine bust will suffer from this same issue im sure of it. And once again SS's customers will be robbed from getting their monies worth.

a 1:1 bust that is hollow is lame, IMO. I was considering this one, along with Wolverine, and Thor (in hopes of a Captain America, to have the Avengers) but, I decided to pass as well.

Not to offend, but wouldn't someone who spends $500.00 for a hollow Hulk 1:1 Bust already be a trigger happy money spender? :wink1:

Not for sure exactly what SS's justification for charging $500.00 on this piece is...it seems like these prices are pushing higher and higher, and the pieces themselves are getting lighter and lighter....

Even with a normal economy, $500.00 for a nice and heavy/solid version of this particular 1:1 Hulk would be really pushing it to begin with.
