Speaking of Willow debacles, the fact that they were willing to release their 1/6 Willow figure even in the condition that headsculpt was in showed me that Sideshow puts profit above quality. They should have redone the Willow heads but they didn't bother. Great prototype headsculpt, but a horrible figure once it was produced. Scrapping it and recasting the head would have cost some extra money, but at least they wouldn't have been asking fans to purchase a botched piece.
So New indy pics came out and the figure....[sigh], I think im cancelling it. It doesn't look like a monstrosity but is not HT level for the price.
Example.

Ah, that's the first I've seen it.
That's SS giving us this unbelievable price for such a fantastic piece of work.
$240 that's not bad
But tombstone separated for $ 125?
**** off SS

The bad thing is if this doesn't sell well it might send the message that smaller niche properties won't sell well. Sure they probably read all the complaints, but at the end of the day it'll just come down to numbers. Which is a shame, it's a great movie with very little merchandise behind it. A great 1/6th would have made a lot of fans happy.
I'll wait on this like I did Nathan Drake.

If small niche properties don't sell like this beetlejuice, then only Sideshow can blame themselves for it. But they won't, they will blame poor sales on us.
