For what it's worth, I got my SS Deadpool figure about 3 weeks ago, shipped direct from Hong Kong (bought through Sideshow). Sideshow only just started shipping this week to domestic US customers. I think I also recall Hong Kong got Sideshow's Snake Pliskin early too. But as as has been pointed out I don't recall any early Scout Troopers.

Luke pictures are floating around from secret base. Same with the TIE pilot. Hot Toys we see the blogger pics the day they're released but that's also the day people over there started getting their figures. We just get the benefit of a few week delay. Some people might have freaked if it was Sideshow shipping Chewie the same day those blogger photos showed up. But instead we all got a few week delay and got to see some great futzed figures in the mean time.

Don't think Sideshow is doing anything nefarious is all. They've already done enough to dissuade people from pre-ordering with the NRDs.

So Sideshow can't even weather a helmet (from the Red 5 Luke) to look decent. I'm really having doubts on how this figure will turn out as he's supposed to be the more weathered looking version. I'm getting close to pressing the cancel option on this figure...

Unless some pictures come in that make me think what we are seeing with Red 5 is somehow just bad photography I am not touching that figure, but I am not ready to bail on 3p0. I am pretty happy with R2 (I got two of them) and I have no other C3P0 except an old Hasbro one. Seems to me this still might be the best option for the price because better options are more expensive, especially when most other options you have to pay after market prices for.

Tamashii's aftermarket is $100+ less than it was at retail and SSC's has no chance of competing with it.

Yeah. The price of the Tamashii I'm thinking of getting is higher than the Sideshow figure but pretty reasonable by the standards for that figure ($275). I think overall I'd be happier with the Tamashii but I want to see how this turns out.

I waited too long to reply to the guy on here who was selling it (I was waiting to get paid and didn't respond in the mean time) so it sold. I put up a thread in the Items Wanted section. Unless there's one you know of I've missed.

I saw one on eBay over the weekend and was going to pull the trigger on it today but it already sold. Probably the same one, it was priced the same.

Oh well, if I don't find another one at that price and Sideshows finish isn't what I'm looking for there's always a Hot Toys version coming sooner or later.

Ah the one I was looking at was for sale here on the boards not eBay (unless he had it up there too). He actually dropped it to $250 so I really messed up by not replying back. Oh well I'll find one sooner or later. There is still the off chance the Sideshow figure will turn out decently so who knows maybe I'll be satisfied with it.
