It's only ever worth it for the Exclusive, or when Sideshow have extra special deals.

Importing costs an arm and a leg, but in this case I think the loss of an arm provides a great display option which will differentiate this one even more from the Tamashii...

I see what you did there. :wink1:

I mainly ordered C3PO because I have R2 on pre-order. To be honest he's never been one of my favorite characters.

So...Just get R2 then? Am I missing something? Why buy a figure of a character you admittedly don't like? Man, some of the collecting on this forum boggles my friggin mind sometimes.

I was going to order him as I appreciate the aesthetic connection to all things OT...but because the character on its own does nothing for me, he was my first cut. Will be getting R2 without him. Still interested to see how he comes out, though.

I'm not really super impressed with either the R2 or 3PO, but I do think the pair of them together would still look pretty damn cool on my shelf, and somehow make up for any deficiencies the two have on their own. If that makes any sense.

Unfortunately that would mean spending upwards of $400 for both, and I'm not sure they're really worth that even together.

Once you use the coupon, it's used, you've taken advantage of the savings. It doesn't matter if it expires. In other words, like every coupon, expiration is the window of time you have to use it, regardless of when your order is delivered.

That makes sense, just wanted to be sure. To much to drink last night. :)

Makes perfect business sense not to step on each others toes. A lot of people who expect HT to do whatever they want in SW figures don't seem to understand this. :dunno

There are still people that will say HT and Sideshow are ruthless competitors even after both companies announcing they're splitting releases, both companies announcing re-commitment to Sideshow's distributing HT to almost the entire world, both companies announcing that HT is now Sideshow's official distributor for Asia, Sideshow prominently featuring and demonstrating for Hot Toys at North American shows/cons, HT featuring and demonstrating Sideshow products at Asian shows/cons, HT featuring/showcasing Sideshow product at their store(s).

Have I left anything out?
