i am finding the lack of Star Wars offerings to be a nice time to reflect on my collecting habits... without the dangling carrot, i am not chasing anything but rather forced to look at what i have "caught". it is an eye-opener. how / why did i get so many freaking clones?

with this disrupted supply pattern, phrases such as "less is more" have creeped in... do i really need the entire Republic Navy when a single Tusken Raider figure has more resonance than the entire lot?

perhaps i have been a junkie... and with my dealer out of supply, i have cleaned up a bit. perhaps i am seeing a little clearer...

thanks Sideshow.

I did the same thing I sat down one day and looked at my clones and decided "I only really like phase 1 clones" so I sold off all the phase 2 except gree and customized 2 of them so I am left with 14 phase 1 clones and none of this mixing and matching that was making me go insane.

i feel that same, i only have phase 2, except i have 23 with my customs and mods, so even limiting to one version can have insane results

Same :hi5:

I never let Rex put that damn bucket on. :lol

I had his bucket on, but not his phase 1 i have one of Bobamike's Phase 2 rex buckets, that tho is sitting at his feet since i like having the headsculpts on them at the moment

BTW 1000th post

With any luck we will have this guy in about 5 weeks

I can't believe this has been delayed so long. You'd think SSC would have clones down to a science at this point.

Yeah, they did. That is until they just improved the armor and headsculpt
designs. I believe this piece will be their first foray into this new process.

Yep, 2nd half of the reason I decided to jump on the clone bandwagon.

What changes were made to the armor? I knew the headsculpt.

Start listening at about 1:05

This is assuming that the technique is being used for all of the clones going forward.

Interesting. Guess I missed that. So we're assuming that the new stuff is starting with Wolffe then?

I was excited to see that the face is three parts. Allows for a LOT of customisation.
And i thought the Ganch headsculpt was the pinnacle of their craft.
They are really upping their game. It won't be hard to fit moving eyes in the head if it's separate parts.

Ganch is really cool, I liked Wolffe a metric ton in the toon series, so I'm really happy to be getting this, but tbh I am about commandered out. Would like to see some more troops that haven't already been done as well as non standard repaint clones like the Kasshyyyk scouts... but I guess I'm getting off the subject of how awesome this figure looks to be. :clap:clap:clap

I'm with you there! All I need is a Kashyyyk Scout Trooper, a Galactic Marine, and a Rex phase 2 and I'll be done with the clones. Such killer designs!
