Found this on facebook. Can't say if good or bad, the eyes are... Weird?

I agree the eyes look bad here.

But they look good here:

I wonder if this is a production sample or if it's still the proto? Probably too early for a production sample...

Interesting... now I'm not sure if I want this, or just find a DX on sale somewhere for the whole package.
But I do like this headsculpt better, although with the eyes as such, it forces the buyer to pose him with his head slightly down...

The more I look at that fedora, the more it looks like a 1/4 scale hat on a 1/6 scale figure. Surely it's not that difficult to make it look the correct scale. While it's nice to be able to have the option to display him without the hat, with is the definitive Indy look. Please at least get that right, Sideshow! }-\

The brim seems okay, but the dome of the hat is quite thick. Especially in that straight on shot ...

I know I will never notice it on my shelf, but it's bugging my eye right now. :lol

Like Snake I'm gonna weather the hell out of it (yup for the price you shouldn't have to, but...)

The eyes need to be looking down slightly, I hate the star-gazer eyes. Agreed with the un-necessary stitching on the bag strap (done just to justify the price ;))

Not bothered by the exposed knee.

Still keeping my PO (I po'd when there was no NRD--a very long time ago)

I don't see it yet. (The oversized fedora, not the nice knee).

Seeing these actual pics, it doesn't look so bad in comparison. Though it doesn't help that in that straight-on shot, it looks as if the hat is floating slightly above his head.

Much better shot.

I think this is still the proto with the really great paint job. I'm hopeful, but I have doubts about what the production paint will eventually look like. If it looked like this, I'd be totally happy with it. But I've learned the hard way to be cautious ...

Of all the big advancements we've seen in 1/6 figures over the last decade, my most wished-for next-level improvement would be figuring out a way to make shirt collars look more natural in that scale.

I really like this guy, i would just hate to drop money on it, later to be made by hot toys and it drops half its value because sideshow can hold its retail value like my Delux Darth Vader did, ill never sell the vader but still

Brim of the hat isn't wide enough.

Realistic looking face but again doesn't look like Ford. One will really have to dirty this guy up to look authentic -- just doesn't look right stiff and clean yet with ripped clothing. I'm sure you can make this figure look good but its going to take a lot of work.

Call me crazy but I think this is the best ford head sculpt I've seen I love everything about this figure

I disagree about the likeness, I think it's a good catch of a pensive looking Ford. All in the eye of the beholder though, I suppose.
