Key word is "production".....will it look this good in the end?

Man I really hope so! It seems like they are taking the 1/6 world a bit more seriously and being more of a competitor. Maybe they've been listening a little bit and browsing around here, who knows! But I gotta say I'm impressed with what was shown and the licensing

Couple pics I took today.

It was a lot of work my friend. I used iron wiring as a base and started to wrap rope around it. I used flat wood strips and carved them up. Drilled holes and wrapped endlessly. Used two different type of rope. Mainly christmas rope. [emoji16]

I still don't see Ford in this. He doesn't have his swag. I think modding the enterbay han solo with a hat would be perfect.

I agree. Good figure, but no Harrison in that picture. Is there anyone on planet earth that can sculpt Harrison and paint it correctly?

With that comparison I honestly still don't see it. Though it might be the paint not the sculpt that's throwing it off.

I think it looks excellent on both scores, but like everyone has said, let's see how the production piece turns out.

That "proto" was painted by Lalla Wan Lee. Which has to be the most bizarre thing SS have done releasing pictures of an upcoming sculpt.
They are already knee high in **** because of the difference between what they show and what they release, then they decide to get a Lalla paint-up?!!

To anyone not in the know, Lalla paint is known for creating incredible little masterpieces that are completely incomparable to ANY mass produced heads.
Super expensive commissions and one offs only. If anyone thinks they are getting that they are gonna be truly disappointed.

I don't think anyone in there right mind thinks that they'll receive a paint job of that quality, but I think it illustrates the quality / likeness of the sculpt. Even with paint apps as half as good, this is looking likely to be the best mass produced Indy headsculpt we've seen by some way.
