Figure looks promising and interesting but I have a bad feeling about the price. Also I would much prefer getting the Bespin Lando before this. But I'm really glad Sideshow is doing this version and HT presumably doing Bespin and not vice versa.

Its Lando so I get it but would prefer to put Bib or Pig Guard or even palm-waving Jawa around Jabba rather than him.

If spending the cash to get Jabba, a Jawa fanning him with a faux palm leaf is a must.

That is if you can get one of those damn Jawas to hold the leaf in their hands AND stay unright on their feet

Really hope it doesn't have a second no-helmet headsculpt. That will put it above $250 or above and the head will be Sideshow quality.

At one point I had a pile of non-helmet/hat Sideshow headsculpts just sitting in a box - Luke Snowspeeder, Luke Hoth, Han Hoth. I did a lot of modding to the Snowspeeder one and was able to use it, the other two I haven't.

But the message is 100% clear - Sideshow is simply not up to the task of creating a "hero head" that's on-par with 1/6 state of the art. How that's possible in 2019, after so much time, so many opportunities and so many huge price jumps, I have no idea - but it's the truth.

I'd rather save the $ than add Lando to my pile.

Good idea on the shadowed Luke Jedi hood for the Hoth Luke! It needs all the shadowing it can get.

Absolutely, I'll have to pick up a 1/6 jawa and get him to hold a fan.....

But I've been hanging out for Lando, great timing with Jabba coming out.

Yeah I'm kinda hoping that as well. Since even if the sculpt turns out decent, we'll all be replacing it with the far superior HT sculpt anyway when that one comes out.

Since I imagine that 90% of collectors would want to add Lando to a "Jabba's Palace" display instead of a non-existent Skiff display most people would keep his helmet on for that reason alone anyway.

I’m actually really curious to see the ROTJ Luke used on the hatted Hoth sculpt. Think it would work really well but no longer have that figure.
