I know it's minor but I still can't believe they ship their figures with plain black bases like that; but I guess better than ThreeZero who doesn't give you anything lol.

Yeah it's a shame they don't put a bit more effort into those bases. Even just a metal name plate in front would be nice.

Agreed with you guys. I hate that they stopped printing any sort of graphic on the bases. Super lazy especially considering how much they charge. Even Star Ace has putting cheap graphics on their bases for the last couple of years.

From what I can tell, they're using the chest/neck from their larger muscle bodies like Superman, Batman, Magneto, etc on this figure but with skinny arms and legs instead of the thinner body they've used for Darth Maul and Jedi Luke. It's probably why the shoulders are so wide too.

Yeah, I was thinking he's pretty broad. Is that what you mean, go to a slimmer body ?

That chest armour also looks small scaled, but I'm not in deep enough to know if that's screen accurate or not. Although a less bulky body would perhaps bring the armour/body ratio back into a better proportion.

Mine finally updated about an hour ago. Looks to be coming straight from Hong Kong, and projected delivery is the 30th. After 2+ years whats another day, especially around christmas time!

Yes, a slimmer shoulder body. A body swap will also fix the "giraffe neck" issues. WTF is that?

Like someone mentioned, this is a very nice custom kitbash set. Looking forward to having a go at it next week.

A couple quickies outa the box. I still am not thrilled with the armor paint apps but overall he looks really good on the shelf. The non helmet sculpt is useless to me but the helmeted sculpt is awesome.

Woohoo, nice to finally see some decent pics of this! I can see what you mean about the paint, as it does have a pretty flat and plastic look to it. Might need to hit mine with a bit of rub 'n buff to make the armor "pop" more. And of course some extra weathering on the leather might help too.

He simply looks awesome on the shelf. I’m a bit biased though since this is a grail figure for me.

A word of warning: the large, leather wrap on his stomach is already beginning to crack on mine at the small straps and appears to be very fragile in general. I don’t think it’s going to last long especially if you like changing up the pose often. And the leather armor straps are leaving black marks on the neck.

The helmet is great and after posing his head properly with the helmeted sculpt I have no intention of spending any extra money on a different body. I think he looks fine as is.
