I've pre-ordered all of the HT Star Wars and several of the SS as well. Out of all that R2 is my most anticipated item of 2015 so far. I hope we find out a shipping date this week.

Momaw reported that the shipping calculator has dropped it to $40 and I just checked too. A coupon will drop the total to $170, which still makes it more expensive than getting it locally from popcultcha for $200AUD. The only reason I'm keeping mine is because of the timing, and because I might as well pay a bit extra for a useless exclusive I'll never take out of the box.

Hey do popcultcha still ship for free, thought i saw they charge a flat rate now. Unfortunately, i'm also partial to exclusives on my favourite characters, so i guess i'll stick with sideshow unless they start inventing bull... Shipping prices again...

They do say that orders over a hundred bucks ship for free - but I've never tried it out 'because up 'til now it has always been cheaper to buy and ship from US and Asian stores.

Yeah Popcultcha is free shipping over $100.

I have bought a few things from them. The deluxe Clones were actually cheaper than sideshow at first. I've also gotten a few Hot Toys from them where the price was cheaper as well. Especially Hot Toys Luke DX07 when it was on sale and then double discounted a further 20% a couple of years ago for the May 5 sales. Popcultcha also has a rewards scheme where you earn pennies and cash them in for either $ or % discounts. I used some pennies and got the Batman Armoury for less than sideshow (after shipping and currency conversion). In fact the Armoury shipped today! I'll prob get the Hot Toys Stormtroopers from them (using some more points) since SS won't sell them to Australia. I'm wondering if HT Vader will also be "restricted shipping".

Well, Sideshow's site says "February-March 2015"

Kinda sucks, I got a wait list conversion at the beginning of November saying it would begin shipping in 15-21 days. I'm assuming that's just part of their form letter.

One thing that annoys me about delays from Sideshow is how they push the payments back. Sometimes I have other flex payments coming up and the rescheduling makes them overlap.

I just find it weard 1st tell me a week ago due january 15th then , catch up on reading thread n check my order and BAM! March 15th WTF such a bummer i guess our little droid had a bad motivator. I guess he better be Perfect after this delay...
