I just find it weard 1st tell me a week ago due january 15th then , catch up on reading thread n check my order and BAM! March 15th WTF such a bummer i guess our little droid had a bad motivator. I guess he better be Perfect after this delay...:impatient:

That's why this is curious; he looked awesome AND was shown with (what appeared to be) final interior packaging? I understand one month delay but TWO? What gives?

Yep very suprised on delay he was show cased at hot toys secret base and usualy means pretty final and ships a month later after being displayed or very soon after.

Well they won't take that final flex until he is in warehouse, so I might b able to use that money now for Something else.

Yep lots of orders in 2015 i just wanted to start my 1st order in 2015 with r2 for pretty much this star wars year.

I wish they would just stay with a quarterly system. In December, if you push it back to January, then it implies you're pretty sure it will arrive within 4 weeks, which essentially means it's on the boat. If, the day before January, you push it back to February-March, that means, your previous information was incorrect, and it's not on the boat, and is going to take longer. The implication is that you're not in control of the production schedule. . . overall it just creates the impression that you don't have good information, which isn't good for customers.

On the other hand, if you'd have just kept it at Q1, you wouldn't have to change anything, and it doesn't make people second guess and make assumptions.

Then answer to all of your questions lies here...

F'ing unions! Worst invention ever! You don't like your job, get a new one, end of story! Unions and strikes should be outlawed!

And these dudes make over 100k

This and Chinese new year will push a lot of figures to march and April

My guess is that SSC transport cost are so low, they won't look at routing through another gateway, they will just make everyone wait, which at some point would hurt them when they try to unload multiple figures on us at once

That's just a fake labor issue cooked up by SS to hide the fact they are just out to screw up people flex pay plans :lol

I've never used flex pay, so if they already took your payment and something's gets pushed over 1 month they don't refund you?

The sad truth is it's just 70 people, but the other union people won't cross the picket lines. From the site globaltrademag.com:

"More than 20 loaded container ships are docked and idle at seven of eight terminals at the Port of Los Angeles and three of six Long Beach terminals three days after 70 union clerks went on strike and dockworkers from their union refused to cross their picket line.

The clerks – members of the International Longshore & Warehouse Union (ILWU) – are responsible for much of the paperwork involved in the loading and unloading of cargo at the two ports, the top two container ports in the country."

So 70 people can stop the work of 20,000+ and close/slow down the 2 ports that handle 40% of US shipping. Maybe Obama could stop golfing long enough to do something? :cuss

you can read the rest here: Strike Paralyzes Ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach | Global Trade Magazine

So it's pushed back to February/March? Oh man, not cool.

I wonder if that also affects SSC' s HT Maleficent and Star Lord figures that were also scheduled for January?

If it's not in their warehouse right now it's going to be delayed. How long depends on when then strike is settled.
