Really? Mine comes off pretty easily. 3PO needs a little repositionning afterward but the back of the head comes off easily and can be put back with very little effort.

The part comes off easily, yes. It's the fact that it needs to be removed at all to access the switch that I'm whining about.

My desire to get R2 and C3PO are declining with reveals such as Batman Returns, BD Robo cop, (new head) Ripley and not shown BD T 800. I guess when it comes down to it I am attracted to “human likeness”……oh well

This R2 has looked awesome from the very first pic.

After the less-than-stellar-but-sorta-okay 3PO reveal, I'm going to be displaying them just like that early R2 reveal pic - with 3PO a little fuzzy and in the background, R2 front and center!

. Star Wars is my first love but I need to keep my distance as much as I can. With HT license announcement it will be hard keeping up and owning them all!

I'm definitely picking up a few of Hot Toys new Star Wars figures.

The Sand Trooper looks excellent. And yes, that's Boba Fett in the background.

But honestly, I really dig the little Herocross troopers and would love to grab a couple.

These Herocross guys have been out a while in some form, as they're available on eBay - Vader listed at BBTS for August release.

I picked up one of the stormtroopers a while back - at $70 it was pretty steep I thought. The proportions make it difficult to achieve the classic two-hands-holding-blaster pose, but apart from that it's a fun figure with a lot of personality for its size.
