Honestly I need R2 to be present at more than 2 dioramas.... at the same time.

Probably will first do a R2 showing Old Ben the Hologram(With the stone table) and maybe R2(though there isn't enough dirt on him yet) peeping into Yoda's hut.

Totally forgot about the hologram/table! I wonder if his holographic projector has a sort of flashlight-type beam so it will actually light up the hologram.

I believe the table has a battery compartment to light up the hologram from below

Yep, there was a pic from SDCC with the table hologram lit up. Looked great.

That explains why R2 comes with the rod gadget.

I only grabbed 2 pics of R2, since I already preordered and I'm fully on board with this one. But here's what I got (as always, no flash):

Looks great... how was the sense of scale between R2 and C-3PO? Bummed we didn't get a nice side-by-side of them. Makes me worried it will be like the Han and Luke 2 pack where they intentionally photographed them to hide the lack of height difference

Thanks, I hadn't checked out the C-3PO thread in a few days.

Looks pretty good... maybe a smidge too small in relation to C-3PO, but certainly close enough that I won't loose any sleep. Now let's just hope they are in scale with everyone else
