R2 is showing up as $74 to ship to Australia.
Hoping it's wrong or there's going to be cancellations.
I didn't even bother checking. Is that with a pack-out? That kind of jump doesn't really make sense... the package would be smaller and lighter than standard...
Meanwhile our local online store has it for $200AUD. Which sounds a lot, but even with a $20 discount, is cheaper than Sideshow by around 45 oz dollars

Noticed this morning that shipping to the UK is $45.54.
Never seen a cost higher than $40 before.
Maybe SS reckon they under-valued their Artoo in relation to their Threepio, so they're clawing some cash back.

There's no shipping quote on my order. Maybe it's just for international customers as a heads up. At that rate, I'd want fair warning too. It still may only be an estimate, but you can bet the real quote is in that ballpark.

Vader back in january was'nt as much as some are saying R2 may be to ship. His box was one of the larger ones to date. Why would sideshow have flat-rate shipping on some of the upcoming figures (hoth) and want to charge stupid amounts for r2. What the hell
