By the way.....The little elastic loop that's on the bottom of Indy's shirt, is that really needed?

Oddly enough, for the first time in owning SSC figures with that, I regret cutting it off. The shirt wants to ride up out of the pants to easily posing it around a fair ammount for my pictures, the elastic would have kept it in place better.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering IF that's what it was for but I wasn't sure. I was about to remove it but I'm glad I didn't now. ;)

Well, first I had Indy on the Pro body and then I switched him to the TrueType 38 body and then I switched him back to the Pro. Last night I decided to give the TT body another shot to see if I could get the outfit to fit a little better on it than it was the first time around. Here's some shots...

Holly that looks awsome!.. how did you get the hat off of indy? brute force?

Very nice darren, i am very impatient of see the final. It will be superb as usual, I am sure.
What you used to unstick the hat ? (a knife  )

A sharp craft knife blade... my fingers.... a blunt spoon... and a metal sculpting tool

.....and about an hour and a half... and some VERY sore fingers

but it was worth it, i wouldn't have done these any other way

(thanks for the compliments guys)

Let me know if yours does the same thing. IF it doesn't then maybe I didn't really get the shirt and jacket on the body the right way?

Well, I checked mine and the sleaves do ride down a little when the arms are posed high but to me it looks natural. No more than when I raise my own arm and jacket sleave inches down. It may just be a matter of personal tastes. I took a some quick pics so you can compare.

One thing I'd do is before you pose, put the arms out like a "T" and pull the sleaves out toward the hands. Then hold them in place while you bend the arms. It helps a little. I'd leave the elastic where it's at on the shirt. That's actually a pretty good idea from Sideshow. And Darren, that paint job and head is sick.

Awesome... Trevor's sculpt really is beautiful. Can I tell you how cool it is to see new stuff from you on boards!

Your 'in progress' stuff looks so finished to me. Can't believe the finishing touches haven't been put on.

Keep it coming.

Yeah, I have to agree with everyone else that there are some pretty awesome repaints going on here. IF I had a spare set of heads and some money I'd send them out to get repainted. :)

Jerker,

What you described about putting the arms in a "T" first is what I figured out last night while I was putting the gear back on the TT body.

I *think* the first time around I was in so much of a hurry to switch the bodies that I didn't watch how I was putting the cloths back on.

What kind of stand are you using with your Indy by the way, Jerker? That looks cool. :)

What kinda stand is that and where can i get one?!

That's a DiD table stand enhanced version. I had bought a bunch of them a little bit ago on ebay as I couldn't find any retailers here in the states that sold them. They're pretty cool as you can make figures do more realistic poses.
