Figures impressive, I'm not familiar with the game but it'd make a great base for an armored Lex Luthor.......of course I'd never have this kind of money to throw at custom that I could potentially screw up.

I get the impression the people involved with this figure is more of a passion project and I don't know that they're interested in other figures even if they would be successful. For those that don't know, Sideshow isn't the ones actually developing this, it's by a different company through Sideshow: https://www.bigshottoyworks.com/

Yea, they spent two years on this figure already and we still need to wait one more year for it.

I do hope they make some Zerg and Protoss units though.

Kerrigan is on the way, but I'm thinking of Zerg units statues.

I'm sure they will make Protoss hero/units once the last expansion comes out.

I'd like something like this:

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they don't do anything beyond these marine figures. The others are a bit awkward as far as figures go. So I think we'll have Raynor, Tychus, and then the Kerrigan statue.

Fine by me. All I want is Tychus and Raynor anyway in 1/6 and have no interest in SCII statues.

3 days since I last checked BBTS's inventory for Raynor preorders and I don't think they have had a single one.

I wonder if they're going to make this a very small run due to the price and general lack of preorders.

I hope they have enough pre orders to make this worth their while. :panic:

The record high price tag might have been, well, I don't want to say it. :monkey2

They should just make it as a limited item with small number. My friend is hesitating to get this figure since it doesn't have a number, not even limited. Sure, it may eventually sell out, but it lack the feeling of urgency to grab it. A numbered/limited release will give a sense of rareness. I think it actually helps the sales.

I could care less if it's limited or not. It's a flag ship piece and I want it. haha

I like this but want Tychus more and I can only afford one, problem is if this bombs and they don't make tychus, and this is sold out I'm screwed.
Hmmm what to do???

I am in the same boat as you. I like Tychus more as he has a more marine feel. But I still pre ordered Raynor just in case the line suddenly got discontinued. I simply view Raynor as Tychus with a different head sculpt, and an extra pistol.

However, if Sideshow really go ahead with Tychus, I don't know if I can hold back from getting him, put him and Raynor together to make the diorama of the last scene in Wings of Liberty.

Then you will need a naked Kerrigan. :wink1:

You can just sell him afterwards if you they ever release tychus.. who knows jim may be more valueble that time and it could get you extra. at least this way you're secured with either the figures IMO
