A little late to the party. Just scored this figure direct from a Sideshow. I was on the fence for close to a year but decided to jump. Glad I did. There is a ton of detail in this bad boy that can't be fully appreciated from photos.

My only complaint is that the sleeves give his arms a stumpy look if not positioned correctly.

Over all great figure.

I know they are the right length for sure, its just that the way the clothing drapes if you don't futz it right makes them look way short. I guess on "human" scale the robes don't quite have that same effect. Also the premium format version has the same "human" scale look that this figure loses at 1/6.

Still a great figure and I am very happy I pulled the trigger.

They're not - not exactly anyway. The body likely doesn't allow the shoulders to fully articulate upwards. See how high you can get the arms above the head, straight up. On a human, the elbows should reach about to the top of the head, putting the hands way above that. On a 45 degree angle of the upper arm, the elbows should still be at around ear level.

The construction of many bodies make it such that arm length only looks correct in some poses, not through the full range of motion, because not all joints replicate the range of those of a human body.

That said, the figure looks great, but looks downright silly in my favorite pose, which is hands up high holding the gaffi stick. A body or arm swap can go a long way to remedy this, which you can verify in images of those who've done it.

I just got a few extra parts from a seller on Ebay...including sand bases to go on the bottom of Sideshow diaply stands, but they are different than the regular ones that came in the Tusken Raiders or the pair of Desert Cobra Troopers...anybody know where the "better" base is from?

The better one is a lighter color and covers the ENTIRE base.

Has anyone ever seen the Exclusive Stick for sale anywhere? I know TA doesn't get the exclusives...and I have looked on Ebay to find one...and the marketplace here...and since the dog ate mine after it fell on the floor one night and I am told I cannot break any of her toys or I will get in trouble...I would like to find a replacement one.

Any thoughts or sites to check for parts aside from TA of course?

Really only way to get one would be from another collector being willing to break up their exclusive and sell you theirs. You could start a WTB thread, but I'd be prepared to pay ~$40.

I have one (WTB thread, that is), myself, for the Snowtrooper rifle exclusive and IG-88's vibro-ax, offering $40. Have had two messages on the rifle, but none on the ax. I think this ex might be closer to IG-88's ax. People really like it and it suits the figure, so it will probably be expensive if anyone's going to part with it.

I am thinking that I am not too opposed to increasing my Tusken Raider tribe by buying another exclusive figure...he is almost same price as regular, just one more mouth to feed. I already have 3...they may like a new friend.
