These things could have been sitting in someone's office for give-aways or something.

That's what I figure happens. For example, in Susan's most recent Youtube video (the giveaway for the Iron Man Silver Centurion and Mystery Prize) she shows an office where the IM figures is. Right at the beginning of the video you see two GI Joe Red Ninja figures stacked up, and those have been sold out for a couple of years now.

Well, after a week I received an email saying they "jumped the gun" and didn't have a Tusken Raider for me after all. Oh well, easy come, easy go!

Counting between 6 and 7 starts to get tricky as you have to use two hands usually.

Maybe Sideshow thought for sure they were gonna win a cheap auction on eBay and got outbid at the last minute.

Yeah, I don't get how that happens. Someone else posted that it happened to them with the Yoda that was put up too.

I mentioned this before, their web system might not be responsive enough to deal with their actual inventory. When you have only 6 or 7 of something, it's a better idea to just do a wait-list and then issue conversions manually.

Hey guys. If anyone is jonesin' for Tusken Raider, I took a chance with this ebay listing below. Ordered like a week ago from China and today I got a nice brand new Sideshow brown shipper case of Tuskens!

For $162 shipped that is pretty good I think for a sand person. Seems to be like same deal as when the Snowtroopers fell off of the back of a truck earlier in the year on ebay.

I have 2 tusken raiders from sideshow and they are exactly the same. I'll post pics of them side by side later tonight. I pulled one figure out and checked the body and the headsculpt as I was skeptical as well. These are legit as far as I can see.

It's real. Everything is the same. The green cheap ass sideshow body, the sideshow stands, everything is the same. I'm doing some body surgery and soaking the cloths now for a body swap. So if it gives a peace of mind these are 100% real.

Body swap complete. So much better watering the clothes down and getting his arms to set by his sides. I dropped all of the robes into a water bath and then dressed the figure wet and let it dry. Unfortunately the eBay listing has gone up in price now. Still a good deal at $179.

Is this your first one? I highly recommend the body swaps if you have a spare TT. Also soak all of the cloths and applylet dry. They are too poofy out of the box. Those two things take the figure to the next level.

It's the bespin Luke narrow shoulder. I do not know what that translates to the TT Models .Wedged a AOU Hawkeye neck. Wanted to get a body that slouches the shoulders well, the raider looks great hunched and that body is effective for that natural bend.
